Seitron Americas – Combustion Analyzers

This class will cover the fundamentals of VAV system focusing on VAV Air Terminal boxes. You will learn about the various types of boxes and their operation that include cooling only, reheat options, parallel and series fan-powered, and dual duct boxes. Sensing and control sequences will be covered to provide you with a well-rounded understanding of their operation. This allows the student to better understand, install and troubleshoot all types of VAV boxes.

Belimo PICCV & Energy Valves

You will learn valve characteristics and how they relate to hydronic coil performance, valve sizing and valve authority. We will address the benefits associated with using pressure independent valves and understand how pressure independent valves maximize the efficiency of heating and air conditioning equipment and how they can make a hydronic system more stable, easier to control and less expensive to operate. We will also cover the Belimo Pressure Independent Quick Connect Valve (PIQCV). The PIQCV combines a differential pressure regulator with a 2-way control valve to supply a specific flow for each degree of ball opening regardless of system pressure fluctuations. The Electronic Pressure Independent Valve (ePIV) is a pressure independent characterized control valve with an integrated electronic flow meter and a powerful control algorithm. The Belimo Energy Valve is a pressure independent valve that monitors coil performance and energy consumption while maintaining Delta T.
